B.Tech LL.B. Scope

The course is offered by UPES. Above is the link to it's curriculum. If you see this you will find all the major laws have been condensed into one semester i.e semester 7. Whereas, in other law schools these are taught comfortably over 2 semesters each subject, because these are the core ones. In semester 1, you have legal method which again is very important for purpose of analyzing law and framing arguments, because it tells you about how and why law develops, which comes to aid of lawyers in Supreme Court in constitutional matters. Alongside your semester 1 is loaded with B.Tech. So, it will be unnecessarily burdensome. Lastly, frankly speaking in your career neither does your BA/BBA/B.Com/ B.Tech will help you with law because all these streams help you understand facts, but the law does not require that kind of understanding, the legal principles are different. (Something you will understand on understanding evidence law).
