Hello,
I think the selection criteria is on 10+2 scores and IMUCET scores. You need to have at least 60 % marks in PCM and 50% marks in English to get admission into the B.Tech marine engineering stream.

Going by what you are looking for I think you should join the Merchant Navy because of the luxurious kind of lifestyle you want. Merchant Navy offers you a really good salary. Merchant Navy is to carry goods from one country to another. Taking part in merchant navy is easier than in Indian navy and also we can earn more money in merchant navy. The merchant navy is a civilian career and therefore less restrictive.
