Hello Pavan, There are plenty of universities or Deemed to be universities which will give you admission for engineering courses based on your Diploma in mechanical engineering. But listing them out would take pages. The best course for you would be to seek admission on a lateral mode in any one of the colleges in your state through the admission procedure conducted by Directorate of technical education of your state. For Deemed to be universities you will hurt appear for the entrance exam and pass to get admission hence I would recommend that you take the course of your state which is a better road to follow. At present, India is not having enough job opportunities for aeronautical engineers. On the other hand, opportunities for mechanical engineers are plentiful. In view of this, I would like to advise you to please go for mechanical engineering. Best wishes to you.

Once you join Bachelor of engineering course, how you joined becomes irrelevant. What matters is how you complete it. If you complete it with good marks and distinction, then you can get job anywhere including merchant Navy. Just don't worry. Best wishes to you.

Hello Balaji,I am sure, you can join B.Tech through correspondence course via Karnataka State Open University. This is of course assuming that you have completed your 12th standard examination and have procured minimum marks mandated by this university. It should normally take you four years to complete the studies but it depends on how much time you are able to spare for studies since you will have to find time from you schedule for study and then appear in examination. Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research informally Bharath University, Chennai does not offers B.Tech Part time programs. The fee for regular B.Tech course is abour Rs 1,50,000/- per annum.

For good placements, you should crack JEE Main and JEE Advanced for better government College. And None of private College except bits Pilani etc. And for these private colleges you'll also have to beat entrance exam.

Hi, Diplomas are generally not accepted, but you can check with the universities, firstly and get your credentials evaluated. Check DAAD and Anabin. Most UG programs are taught in German language, so I doubt if you will get as many options.

You are eligible for Graduate Marine Engineer (GME)-1st March-2019 batch. Eligibility criteria of GME course is Graduation in BE /B TECH (Mechanical Engineering), BE/ B TECH (Mechanical & Automation Engineering), Naval Architecture with minimum marks of 55% aggregate in Degree.
AND
Minimum 50% marks in English subject at 10th or 12th or in Degree Exam conducted by a recognized board or University.

Mechanical engineering, any day. It's a traditional engineering branch that has promising career options. MIT is far ahead of VIT in terms of faculty and placement. Also, the campus is cool and is situated in the hills. I'd suggest you go for mechanical engineering especially if you are interested in machines and a better career.
