Most of the companies will look for the candidates who has more than 55% through out the academic career. But some companies like ORACLE, INFOSYS and GOOGLE will be having 65% as cutoff. But these restrictions only applies if you apply for the job as a fresher. I would suggest you to complete any of the professional certification and join in a small/medium size company, Get the exposure of the work and how to implement your knowledge in real time projects. Then try to search job at MNC companies. If you are experienced professional MNC companies will not consider your academic marks. Now you concentrate on finding job in a organisation

These days students prefer to join those institutions whose placements cell is able to place a max number of students. B.tech placements are the highest of its categories in lpu. Last year in lpu student got a package of 40 lakhs per annum and the average was 35 lakhs per annum.

Placements are good in CS/IT branches and many mass recruiter companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS etc. Take students directly from campus with average package of 3.5 LPA. Placements in core branches are not do good in any college.

Hi, In the B.Tech CSE course, 60% of students graduated. Leading recruitment companies in this study are Accenture, TCS, Microsoft, Royal Bank of Scotland, etc. About 30% of students have received internships for this course. Last year in this study, the salary package provided by TCS was 11 LPA, while the minimum salary provided was 3.5 LPA.
