IT sector and very few have received core branches and relevant roles, but almost 90% students get placed with average of 4 LPA. Notwithstanding the withdrawal of offers by the e-commerce and software companies, Anna University got off to a bright start to its campus placement drive as three students have received offer letters for Rs 28 Lacs per annum, surpassing last year's the highest offer. The only drawback with this college is that they fail to provide with 100% batch placement.
Considering the placement report of 2016 of Anna University in mechanical branch almost 75 students got placed while 10% student went on for the further studies abroad. Some of the companies that make round during placement season are:

Although the seats are limited, teaching faculty for Engineering Physics is excellent in the IITs. The placement record for this engineering branch is also good in the IIT Madras. For Civil Engineering, last time (2016-17) out of 89 students who applied to placements from the Civil department, 56 students were placed meaning 62.9 percent placement for Civil which is an impressive number. For Civil, the minimum salary offered was 3.2 LPA. The average salary was 6.5 LPA and the maximum salary was 11 LPA. All these figures suggest pretty good placements at NIT-Warangal. Placements witness companies like Sobha Developers Group, etc. , and some investment banks like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, etc.

Placements: In 2015-16, the placement was 30% and in 2016-17, it has gone up to 50%. The average salary is 3 lacs and the max. Is 8 Lacs for chemical engineering specialisation. The lowest is 1.8 Lacs per annum. The companies that visited for Pharma sector based jobs for chemical engineering students are Reliance, Honeywell, Filtra Consultancy, Accenture, PolyOne, Kingfa, Praxair, Pfizer, Ranbaxy, etc. For 2015-16 batch, The chemical department had the least number of placements. To my surprise, a large number of core companies came to the campus which is shocking because usually this is not seen in any other college you're almost 50% of the students in every batch is placed in corporate IT companies. The core companies which visited the campus during the placement season offer packages of nothing less than 12 Lacs per annum and large number of students are also offered foreign training opportunities which is something really big for an electrical engineering student. Chemical engineering deals with the design, development of processes and operation of machines and plants through which the physical or chemical state of materials undergo various changes. Reliance Chemicals- 11 students (approximately. 6 Lacs PA)

Thermax - 2 students (approximately 7 LPA)
