For Biotechnology Engineering, last time (2016-17) out of 75 students who applied to placements, 65 students were placed meaning almost 90% placement for Biotechnology which is astonishing considering the fact many core Companies rolling out offers. According to the National Institute Ranking Framework, NIT-Warangal ranks 34th among the engineering colleges in India. For Computer Science Engineering, last time (2016-17) out of 108 students who applied to placements from CSE department, 107 students were placed meaning 90.1 percent placement for CSE which is quite an impressive number. So, it is really good to do Chemical Engineering from a reputed institute or university if someone is really interested in this and is in the search better packages and further studies. If you get NIT Surathkal, it is one of the oldest (established in 1960) NITs having nearly all branches and have great result (73 students placed among 81) in terms of placements in EEE branch (the highest package of 22 LPA and average package of 8.5 LPA).
