The Galgotias Educational Institutions is located in Noida and it is spread over 19 acres is located on an 8-lane expressway connecting Greater Noida with Noida and New Delhi. The Galgotias Institute of Management & Technology and Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology are approved by AICTE. Galgotias has a good facility, good campus, empowering educational process, industry stalwarts in their faculty, global educational associations and relentless placement efforts, to offer the best of career opportunities to its students. Galgotia Educational Institutions are known for a combination of state-of-the-art campus, strategic teaching-learning process, together with the most advanced facilities and creating an environment in which wholesome corporate personalities are created. They provide grooming classes as well but they have not much good placement, they are doing a lot of thing but not success to improve placement and not in success in attract to top company. The max packages range from 3 to 4 LPA. So, it is a good institute but placements are not good.

Placements: In the year 2018, almost 60% of the students got placed in IT companies. Actually, TCS is a mass recruiter and it recruited 170 students out of 350 eligible candidates last year. Expect TCS, many other companies like I GET, Johnson Control, Microsoft and IXIA comes here for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not good, as the campus is small. Classroom and labs are quite comfortable. The library is fine with 80000 books. There is no official canteen in the college and the college does not provide hostel facilities.
The college football ground is very small and dirty, the college does not conduct any fest.
Faculty: A few faculty members are very helpful and most of the other faculty members are useless, the strength of the college is approximately 2000 to 3000 students. Actually, teachers are highly educated and they don't clear student doubt. Some teachers do partially with Non-Bengal students.
Other: The college has tech fest name Avenir but last few years our college's tech fest is getting conducted.

If you are from CSE and even if you are an average student then very easily you can get a CTC of 6 LPA. I believe that in VIT if you are from core CSE then you have opportunities to get placed in your dream company or companies with a CTC of 8+ LPA. The highest placement for CSE this year was from Amazon (28 LPA CTC, 15 fixed & 13 variable). This is the best company you can target. But there are many Tier 1 companies where the selection process is rigorous. The numbers given below are not exact:

Also, there are many companies which offer humongous Salary for fresher such as

It depends entirely upon the company that is offering it. Since the mass recruiters bag most of the students the average is definitely low. The mass recruiters (companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant) offer a package in the range of 4 LPA. The other core IT companies (like Amazon, Mu Sigma, SAP etc.). May offer much more. The packages may vary from 6 to 20 LPA or maybe even 30 LPA. Although, people with packages of more than 10 LPA are just a handful and insignificant compared to the entire population of the CSE department. Overall, on average, the packages are just mediocre.

Hi, according to my point of view NITs are the best government colleges in India.
NIT, Jamshedpur you can choose. It has a great environment. A good to go sized campus, and in the vicinity of the market place. Co-operative people, great security and greenery all around. Experienced professors: In core branches like mechanical and civil we have some really experienced professors. With teaching experience more than probably your age.
Great Hostels: NIT Jamshedpur has one of the best hostel facilities in the country. Two mega hostels, with an accommodation of 1500 students (two buildings, 7 storey). Almost throughout your stay at NIT Jamshedpur you will get a single seater room. Which is a rare case for government colleges. Even the old hostels are well maintained and built.
Great Food: If you are from North India, I BET you will not complain about the food. Talking in relative terms, NIT Jamshedpur has better food than almost all colleges, with food being provided 4 times a day. Decent Placements: NIT Jamshedpur has great placements, with more than 120 companies visiting the campus every year you get to see some really great packages. Two students bagged 67 LPA in 2015. You shout out a domain of interest and you have a club for that. You will get active participation in all clubs and most of the clubs are free of cost to get into. For eg.
