Job opportunities are available for graduates in government as well as private sector. Graduates may take up the following job posts:
*Software Engineer
*Software Tester
*Project Manager
*Application Developer
Graduates may go for Diploma courses such as application development, cyber security courses, IT Edge courses, etc. Traditional ME/M.Tech programs also exist which graduates may pursue. Such programs will help one specialize in disciplines such as CAD, Networking, Security aspects, etc. MBA is another choice available in front of graduates. It will help graduates obtain management skills and thus improve their qualifications.

Depends on the college you pick. You can go for master studies through GATE. You can get a job in leading psu through GATE. You can work in top private companies. You can work as a researcher in ISRO or BARC. ISRO also hires EEE people as junior scientists. You can work in power plants if you have good knowledge of your branch. You can go through some industrial training to enhance your skill and gain some practical experience. Then, it will be easy to get a core job profile. You can get a job in top MNCs. IT sector is also hiring EEE people. You can change your interest from core to IT. Even you can be teacher in good colleges.

See, no doubt, companies visit their campuses for the placement drive but the main problem is that they offer the job only to the top 10-20 students. All the other students simply have to give their interviews and they only get the offer letter asking them to join after 2 years or 3 years.

Placement for Mechanical are rare in all the mentioned Colleges. Students try to score high in GATE and try for other Government jobs.

Hi there,
M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences is a UGC approved private university which is situated in Bangalore. It was established in 2013.
The placements there are quite good but not as good as MSRIT. Many students get confused between MSRIT & MS Ramiah University of Applied Science.
