Cons:
First of all, no government organisation or any PSU would consider your degree of mechanical and automation engineering equivalent to a mechanical engineering degree because of which you will not be able to qualify for companies looking for mechanical engineers.
The number of core companies visiting the campus during a placement season is very less, that being Anglo Eastern Shipping that do offer packages as high as 14 lacs, but then you have to spend around 4 months on the ship.

Sardar Patel College of Engineering was established in 1962 as a government-aided engineering college. It was started with three conventional courses. viz., Civil, Electrical and Mechanical with an intake of 40 in each branch which was subsequently increased to 60. The institute is permanently affiliated to the University of Mumbai.
Placements:
Placements of the electrical branch are quite good here and many of the eligible students are placed in core companies.
Average package:- Rs 4 lakhs
Highest package:- Rs 26.8 lakhs for 4 years

Though it charges a huge amount of fee, for undergraduates and hence provides world-class facilities.
When it comes to placements from computer science and communication engineering, they are exceptionally well and quality wise better future-oriented.
The highest salary offered in the respective stream is 23 Lacs per annum and around 10 Lacs per annum being the average from the recent years.

Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad is ranked 10th in 2017 as it is one of the national level colleges it's growth is miraculous and one of the fastest growing IITs. For computer science branch, placements are quite good and companies compete to choose the candidates with good packages. Almost 95% of got placed in some or the other companies some in electronics and some in software and rest moved for higher studies.

Last year placement in core companies is 25. This year college faced a huge drop in core placement.Although many students placed in IT sector as well.

As far as DIAS is concerned it is not a very reputed college in terms of all infrastructure, placement, research etc. When you talk about aeronautical you have to be more cautious as it is one of the main branches of engineering and have to be carefully select the institute. Following companies are the recruiters for engineering:- Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Genpact
The lowest package was Rs 3 lakhs and the highest package was about Rs 8 lakh for the students of CSE.

The International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad is an information technology research university based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Generally, most of the students from aeronautical end up in IT jobs.
This is because hardly any companies visit the campus for core placements.
According to what its students said on various sites, last year only three core companies visited the campus and picked only a handful of students. One of these companies were Unitech transfer, German company offered the highest package of 21 LPA. But this is only for super talented students.

Pros:
You can overwhelmingly say I'm from the aerospace branch.
If you have a lot of money you can spend on building some quadcopter and RC flights.
Cons:
1.High tuition fee for the aerospace branch, hostel fee (but it has the best hostel in Karnataka).
2.Around 97.5% of people join aerospace just because of its name, there you are not going to learn anything.
3.Only 1 maybe 2 companies visit for campus recruitment and only 1 or 2 may get selected.
