B.Tech Placement

As one of my friends is currently pursuing this course from NSIT, I think I can relate to this question much better.
MPAE is not a new branch, it was introduced a few years back. Well, the course is much similar to that of mechanical engineering but not completely same.
Competition for tech. jobs in this branch is very high as mechanical students also sit for the same companies. Competition is very tough in non-technical companies too because all branches are allowed to sit in these companies. MPAE is a great branch with ample of opportunities for every hardworking student.
If you are aiming for GATE then this is not the right branch for you, since GATE is only eligible for those who are in core branches, and MPAE is not a core branch.
Since syllabus of MPAE is very interesting and research oriented most people opt for foreign universities.
Renowned automobile companies like Toyota, Maruti, Hero, Honda, Mahindra visit campus for placements.
Talking about the highest package offered to MPAE student was 40 LPA by Schlumberger in the year 2015.
And the average package is 8-10 LPA (Only a few percent of students placed from MPAE batch).
So you can expect a total of 50-60% students get placed in both tech/non-tech companies. The rest percent choose to go for higher studies or remains unemployed.

Computer science and engineering is the branch of engineering which deals with technology related to computer, software, data engineering and other developments related to the system.
The branch will lead you to a career in the field of modern technology. The institute is renowned and has all the required infrastructure for the course and the basic modern labs for research, experienced faculty from the industry which makes a candidate industry ready. 5 separate labs running with Linux server & Windows servers. Arya college of engineering and IT is one of the best private colleges in Jaipur. Placement in Arya college of engineering and IT Jaipur is average. 222 companies visited the campus last year.Highest salary offered was Rs 8 lakhs per annum by Just pay, Roofpik and Smarter code.Samsung R&D Institute India offered Rs 7.5 lakhs per annum. Hi,
You can apply and intern as many times as you want but the placement office and professors help you in finding an internship during 3rd year which is a mandatory one. Microsoft and Google have Student Partner and Student Embassador programs.
These are the companies that are on campus for CS:
Amazon, ADP, CA, Commvault, Capital IQ, Cisco, Dell, D.E. Shaw, Deloitte, GE, Honeywell, Oracle, Microsoft, Google, Syntel etc. Amazon, Google and D.E. Shaw hire 1 or 2 people. The other companies hire about 56. Almost everyone from my class ended up with multiple job offers. Average pay for Google, MS etc was in the range 10- 12 lpa. It was around 67 for the rest.
I still feel OU has a lot to catch up to reach NIT and IIT standards. Better faculty, students who are passionate to learn, diversity will make the college much better. This was all back in 2012. I'm not aware of the current scenario.
