For this you should search and see the placements of the college consistently and bonding with different companies.
Moreover, you should also, if possible, visit the college and ask the current studying students and take the feedback.

You can get private colleges but if you think to have more no. of colleges and universities near you can check for JOSAA site and check out the last year opening rank of the particular branch for the best suited college.
