Yes you can, if you are confident to crack IIT-JEE with a good rank. Investing 1-year for B.Tech will be more fruitful if you get into top IITs or NITs or IIITs. You must be sure about your preparation for coming months so that you give your best shot and secure a good rank.

You have not mentioned the name of any other college to which I have to compare DTU. But overall the placements of DTU are excellent. Almost everyone who is eligible gets placed and with quite a good package. The average in all the branches is approximately Rs 10 lakhs and rises for most of the branches. Get back to me with the name of the college for specific answer. Please upvote. :)

No NIT offers B.Tech in mechatronics. If you want to pursue this course then check out private universities.

Placements in MU especially in MIT are pretty decent.Quite a lot if company like Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Bosch, Maruti Suzuki, Mercedes, Indian army, a number of start ups come every year for placements. MU tries to attract as many companies as possible.
