B.Tech Placement

The University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET) at Panjab University, Chandigarh, offers B.Tech placements with an average package of around 8.89 LPA and the highest package around 45 LPA. The institute has a good infrastructure, including well-equipped classrooms, labs, libraries, and hostel facilities. The placement scenario is average, with most companies predominantly favoring IT and CSE branches. However, there are exceptions like L&T, which recruit for core branches like Mechanical. ECE students also receive decent exposure based on the nature of placements. The office offers career opportunities to students in the form of internship offers and full-time positions. The highest package offered during placements in 2023 was INR 24 LPA, and a total of 243 students were placed with 36 companies participating in the placement drive. The top recruiters during Osmania University placements in 2023 included De Shaw, Wipro, Oracle, HCL, OPTUM, Toshiba, Maruti Suzuki, Cognizant, DBS Bank, and Tech Mahindra. The Human Capital Development Centre (HCDC), Osmania University has been playing a proactive role in extending placement and training services to students for several years. The office of the Directorate of Human Capital Development Centre (HCDC) identifies the needs of students, designs capacity building activities, projects their competencies to employers, and provides a forum for placement activities in the campus and constituent colleges.

Rama University Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh claims that they have 100% placement record for B.Tech. It was rewarded for its employability. In 2023, the university placed over 2500 sudents in different courses. The average package was 3 LPA and the highest package offered was 6 lpa. The university's placement cell is very active.
