B.Tech in CSE has better placement at Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute than ECE for obvious reasons, because even though the ECE branch has been on a rise in last few years computer skills are still the most demanded skills in the industry.  So, if you are getting both branches you should try to get into CSE unless you have some interest in ECE other than placement.

B.Tech placements at NSIT are quite impressive. Some of the highlights are:- About 60% of students are placed in the B.Tech. course.- The highest package is INR 1.6 crores per annum, and the average package is INR 18 Lacs per annum.- Top recruiting companies include Microsoft, Google, Sprinkler, and many more.- The median package offered to BTech and M.Tech students during NSUT placements 2022 was INR 16 LPA and INR 14 LPA, respectively.

BTech placements at Lingaya's Vidyapeeth are good. According to the data mentioned by the Institute, the highest salary package offered to BTech and M.Tech students was 16 LPA in the private sector and 10.6 LPA in the government sector. The average package offered to students was 3.5 LPA. Almost 85 percent of the students got placed out the batch. NIE Mysore has released its placement data for the year 2023. According to the official website, the highest and average packages offered during the 2023 placement season were reported at INR 56 LPA and INR 9 LPA, respectively. A total of 708 students secured placements, and the placement drive saw participation from 348 companies. Moreover, the placement statistics reveal that over 960 offers were extended, including more than 500 coveted dream offers.
