Careers in both IT and computer Science can take you in many directions, but they do have distinct paths. Jobs grounded in computer Science will broadly mean working with programming languages or data to develop or improve products. Jobs in IT will focus more heavily on the operation of computers, their networks, and systems, so that others in an organisation can do their work smoothly. There are several roles that might straddle the line between computer Science and IT, like cloud computing or database administration. Computer Science and information technology (IT) are two distinct subjects, despite their many similarities. Generally

I would say, first and foremost, you have to understand that there is no point comparing M.Tech and MBA courses. Both are specialised degrees and have value in their respective grounds. Both M.Tech and MBA provide excellent career options and have gained importance over the time. M.Tech or MBA is always an additional advantage to an engineer whether it is in terms of experience, knowledge or seniority. Whether it be an IT, manufacturing, or R&D driven establishment, there would be requirements for both M. Techs and MBAs. The M. Techs would be more of a subject matter specialist, whereas the MBAs would handle product sales and marketing

Yes in some institutes and No in some institutes, it's possible to study M.Sc. In Physics after B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. But only few colleges are giving chance for B.Tech students like Delhi University. Do some research about colleges giving this chance and join accordingly.
You would only be accepted to a few institutions if you wanted to pursue an MSc in physics. Traditional universities will not even accept you for a master's degree in physics. You can do Masters in psychology being a B.Tech CSE graduate. It's quite easier to switch now to Masters psychology. Get ready to do hardwork since you are not a psychology background student. Few colleges won't allow non psychology background students, check before and join accordingly!
