You can opt for B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering at many colleges if you are a student with biology as your background; the eligibility criteria differ from institute to institute. Some might need a background in Mathematics at the higher secondary level. Check the individual requirements of the college before getting admission. If your selected college accepts students from a different academic background, there won't be any problem opting for CSE.

With a JEE rank of 176146 and a budget of 10 lakh, you can get a seat in a decent college for CSE, IT, or AI. Private universities like SRM, Amrita, and Manipal are good options, though fees might be high. State-level colleges and some NITs may also be possible, especially under your state quota. You can explore management quota seats in private colleges if needed. Compare fees, placements, and faculty before deciding. If you want to aim for a top college, you can consider taking a drop year (long term) to improve your rank.
