As per the data collated from various sources on the internet, the median salary offered to MAKAUT (on campus) and at its affiliated colleges ranges between INR 1.7 LPA and INR 40 LPA. However, due to its non-official nature, this information can be considered indicative. Additionally, most of the verified students' reviews on the MAKAUT BTech programme mention that students are offered 80-100% placements every year and that companies, such as Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Berger, Haldia Petrochemical, and Nestle, among others, are visiting the campus for placement opportunities. MAKAUT can be considered a decent option for BTech.

No, MAKAUT considers WBJEE for regular admission to BTech programme and JELET (conducted by WBJEEB) for admission to lateral entry programme. Other than these, the official website does not mention any other source of admission. However, students can still reach out to the admission office of MAKAUT for more clarity.
