The BTech Mining Engineering syllabus is not similar for all colleges and universities in India. Every college follows a certain set of syllabus guidelines that they follow and set the syllabus keeping in mind a particular framework. But, the general topics covered in Mining Engineering classes are usually the same.Talking about the elective subjects, yes of course. You will have a pool of electives to choose from during the entire course duration. You can pick the elective subject as per your interest and then even go on to pursue a specialisation in the same in the future which will help you fetch a job easily.

Candidates must pass BE/ BTech in relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate to apply for VIT Chennai M.Tech programme.
