Both are DU's colleges. But SGGSCC is better than Khalsa College in terms of faculty and crowd.

It's going to be tough. You can try somewhere else or apply next year.

Both the courses are best in their own place. It depends on your interest. More than 50+ colleges offer economics honours but only 10+ colleges under DU offer statistics (Hons). I would suggest you do statistics (Hons) from Sri Venkateshwar College because if you do this course and get good marks and knowledge of this subject then you will get easily placed in an MNC.

Stats from both Ramjas and KMC is good. I can say the same for Economics hons for Ramjas. Khalsa had a reputation for violence a few years which has improved and considering the opinions of my peers from Khalsa, it is a satisfactory college. Also, as per my knowledge, English and Economics faculty is damn good there. So, it's your call now.

After the rank will get announced, you will be entering into counselling. There, you will get to select colleges of your choice, which will be followed by 3 rounds of counselling where according to your rank, the colleges will be allotted.
Hope this information helps you.
All the best.
