Both the courses are best in their own place. It depends on your interest. More than 50+ colleges offer economics honours but only 10+ colleges under DU offer statistics (Hons). I would suggest you do statistics (Hons) from Sri Venkateshwar College because if you do this course and get good marks and knowledge of this subject then you will get easily placed in an MNC.

Stats from both Ramjas and KMC is good. I can say the same for Economics hons for Ramjas. Khalsa had a reputation for violence a few years which has improved and considering the opinions of my peers from Khalsa, it is a satisfactory college. Also, as per my knowledge, English and Economics faculty is damn good there. So, it's your call now.

Yes, even if you have passed graduation from DU, you can definitely seek admission in another university for MA.

Normally, no university allows a student to pursue PG (MA) in a subject if the student has not studied that subject at the level of graduation. Same is the case with Dibrugarh University also.
