For getting admission in Bachelor of optometry course you have to pass class 12 with cumpulsory Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. You cannot get the Bachelor of optometry from humanities background.

Hello Harsha!You don't have to take SRMJEE for admission to the BOT course at SRM University. The eligibility criteria for the course is:Minimum 60% 10+2 or equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology/ Botany and Zoology from a recognised board. However, try to score as high as possible to get admission to the university.The tuition fee for the entire course is INR 3.60 Lakhs. The course is offered to 60 deserving students.The duration of the course is 4 years with compulsory 6 months of internship.I hope it will help. Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For NEET UG Round 3 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 931 and closing rank was 931 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in AIIMS Rishikesh is based on the scores obtained in the NEET UG entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
