Hi Simran, For Any Jobs in this line - Hotels / Chefs / Bakers / Restaurants - you need to have a minimum qualification of Hotel Management in your specialised area (Bachelors Degree preferably, PG Diploma is also fine if you are already a graduate). MBA in this field will fetch you a much better job. And this rule applies to all over the world. Lot of countries give preferences if course is done from their own country. For Mauritius Indian degrees / Diploma are acceptable.

You can have graduation from commerce if you want to become a chef. But the course in culinary arts is more recommended.

Well, I would suggest you go for B.Sc Hospitality and hotel administration from an IHM, or go for a BHM course. Another option is to do a Diploma course, but it's better to do a Bachelor's degree.
