The best Institute offering courses to become a chef are in America or Europe but your preferences are for other countries. Culinary Institute of America or Le Cordon Bleu were the best options. Thanks.

Either, you do a specialised culinary course or Bachelors in Hotel Management both will help you in becoming a chef. Culinary Academy of India, IHM Pusa or BCIHMCT New Delhi are few good colleges where in you can become a good culinary expert which will help you in fulfilling your dream come true. Thanks.

Best college in Chennai is IHM Chennai. If you want to become a chef you must try for CIA Hyderabad. That would be the best choice for culinary course. All the best.

To become a Chef in India, you would primarily need to attend a culinary school/institute to obtain the Bachelor's Degree in Catering Technology & Culinary Arts, the reason I'm saying culinary school is because a Hotel Management College/Institute would make you study all 4 Core Depts., and that at the end of the course there is no guarantee that you will get placements into 5 Star Hotels as a chef because when companies and Hotels come to recruit at a Hotel Management Institute they come prepared for all depts and generally do not take the students choice preference for the core dept selection, whereas in a Culinary Arts Institute, Ho

Hi Pankaj, Cruise lines set high standards for chefs, and usually require a degree from an accredited culinary school. Cruise ship managers look for candidates, who have a comprehensive education that includes everything from knife skills to whipping up sauces to creating pastries. In addition to basic kitchen skills, a culinary arts programme that includes coursework in kitchen management, accounting practices and inventory management provide skills that can be helpful when working in a ship's galley. You can apply for restaurant positions on each cruise line's website. Check websites frequently, as needs can change quickly.

Hi,
It's nice to see your interest in Culinary Arts. My suggestion would be to go for Culinary courses specifically, as you have your dreams specific.
I chose BHM because I wanted to learn all four core departments. If you're doing BHM, it's just a waste of time because you know your specific field of interest and I would suggest you to mould yourself towards it.
Diploma in Culinary Arts will give you basics to all the cuts, preparations, methods of cooking and various other aspects. Culinary Arts doesn't need a degree, it needs experience rather.
And to support your basics, you will need a Culinary degree not full-fledged Hotel Managem
