Diploma: Class 10th cleared from a recognized board with minimum 40% marks.
Bachelors degree: Class 12th examination with at least 50% marks.
PG Degree: Bachelors degree from a recognized university with at least 45% marks.

Dear Ithakdeep,
To become a chef, you require the right kind of attitude, aptitude and love for food. The more and more inquisitive you are regarding various cuisines, the better the chef, you will become.
To be a Chef, you really don't need a Degree but yes, if you do Hotel Management, it will fine tune your ability and likings. It will expose you to various cuisines in a short time and in a scientific manner. So my suggestion will be to do Hotel Management.

It's never a good idea to drop out. As you still wanted to have some skills (Culinary) you have to study. Complete your 12th and then start in Culinary Schools. Maybe, Diploma but after that, it would be beneficial for you. Otherwise, you will regret why I dropped out.
