All those who have completed their graduation or post Graduation/ Ph.D. are eligible to enroll for the course. As this course is truly professional and industry oriented, employed individuals from any sector (production, processing, quality, trial, R&D etc. ). Can also seek benefits of the course that have interest in food industry. Eligibility for Diploma in Bakery and Confectionery programme can be pursued by candidates after the completion of their 12th-grade examination. The course is formulated to provide candidates who aspire to enter the field of Bakery and make their career in the field. Through this programme students gain advanced training and knowledge in the field, providing a strong foundation for students in pursuing the future study.

This is not necessary to write NCHMCT-JEE exam for Diploma courses. The five diploma courses as Diploma in food production, Food & Beverage Service, Bakery & Confectionery, Front Office Operation and Housekeeping Operation are the core areas of food and beverage operations. It is open to 12th pass students of +2 system who must have studied English language as one of the subjects. The Course duration is for 36 weeks followed by 24 weeks of Industrial Training.
Admission Process: - Applications are invited by individual affiliated Institute of Hotel Management through advertisement in leading local newspapers released during the month of June each year and selection made through a transparent selection process.
Each Diploma program equips students in the basic areas of specialization and institutes provide hands on training to students in the institute kitchens and laboratories.
