For admission to BSc (H) Nursing at BHU, aspirants must meet the minimum educational qualification. Aspirants who are Class 12 or equivalent pass from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate can apply. The applicants must have the relevant documents as well. Admission for Institute of Management Studies under BHU to its MBA programme is based on candidates' past academic records along with qualifying marks in CAT and performance in group discussion and PI round. Aditionally, candidates must have passed have Bachelor's degree with 50% aggregate marks to eligible for BHU FMS MBA. Other entrance exams like  BHUPET and CUET-PG are also accepted for admission to this programme.

Candidate eligibility for Banaras Hindu University's (BHU) B.Com (Hons.) programme requires completion of the 10+2 (or equivalent) from an accredited board with Commerce/Mathematics as one of the courses. The eligibility criteria specify the minimal requirements that applicants to the MBBS programme must meet in order to be admitted. Therefore, in order to be eligible, a candidate needs to have passed English and Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) in a recognised board or university at the Class 12 level or above. A minimum of 50% aggregate (PCBE) for the General Category, 40% for OBC (non-creamy layer), SC, and ST, and 45% for PC in the General Category should also have been achieved by the candidate in the exam.

The eligibility criteria for admission to MBA at Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University is:-Minimum 50% marks in aggregate at the Bachelor degree under 10+2+3 pattern/ a degree in Agriculture, Technology, Medicine, Education or law / a post graduate degree in any discipline under 10+2+3 pattern with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from any University/Institution recognised by AIU/AICTE. For SC/ST candidates 45% mark is required.
