Hi Manish, for any entrance exam the trick is to look at the syllabus. Once you know the syllabus, your entire preparation has to be only in that direction and nothing over and above that. As students or law aspirants, one wants to read everything that is there and score good grades but that's one things which is a deal breaker. The previous year's cut off marks and ranks for B.Sc. Math from BHU are given below for an assessment.
1. Year 2017
Cut off Marks= 168
Cut off rank= 2300
2. Year 2018
Cut off Marks= 173
Cut off rank= 1319
Hence, you have to score more than 170 marks.
