The Faculty of Law, BHU is one of the chief universities of faculties, which is ranked as the largest residential institution in Asia. According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), 2018 the University stands 3rd place in the overall ranking of universities, released by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD). Hey nishar,Banaras Hindu University, the institute of medical sciences has a completely entrance based admission process. Admission in MBBS and BDC are on the basis of the candidate's score of NEET-UG Exam. A merit is formed on the basis of scores of NEET-UG exam and allotment of departments are followed on the basis of the merit. For B.Sc and nursing sciences fields the institute has its own University level entrance examination.
