No, maths is not compulsory for admission to BCom in BHU. However, it is necessary that the candidate studied a subject related to commerce (Commerce/Economics/Maths/Computer Science/Finance/Financial Markets Management/Vocational Courses) in Class 12. Candidate further should hold the qualifying exam pass certificate for verification purposes as well or the application can be treated as invalid.

BHU admission to BCom (Hons) course is based on candidates' performance in CUET. To crack the CUET entrance exam, candidates are advised to strongly go through the syllabus and should understand the exam pattern and marking scheme carefully. Read more on CUET Preparation. Yes, it is necessary that the candidates seeking admission to BA Hons in Economics/Mathematics/Statistics studied Maths in the qualifying examination. For other specialisations, candidates without maths in Class 12 shall also be eligible to apply. For verification purposes.
