Bangalore Institute of Management Studies accept national/state level exam scores for MBA course admission. The accepted exams are KMAT/Karnataka PGCET/MAT/CAT/CMAT. Candidates shortlisted based on exam score have to further participate in the group discussion and personal interview round. Following this, candidates can pay the fee for admission confirmation.

BIMS Bangalore MBA is a two-year programme, divided into four semesters. The professional course include subjects related to manufacturing, business, services, etc. This course syllabus is designed by Bangalore University. Moreover, the course curriculum include industrial visits, workshops, case study analysis, and seminars. BIMS MBA admission is done based on merit in KMAT/ Karnataka PGCET/MAT/CAT/CMAT, followed by group discussion and personal interview.

BIMS Bangalore does not conduct any entrance exam for BCom course admission. The selection for admission to the UG course is based on merit in Class 12. Aspirants who have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam can apply for the UG course. Thus, aspirants do not need to have a valid exam score for selection.

There are a total of 100 seats available for BIMS BCom course. Aspirants are admitted to the course on merit-basis and as per the sanctioned seat intake. The institute reserves the right to revise the seat intake in an academic year. It must be noted that the mentioned seat intake is as per the official website/sanctioning body. The registration/enquiry form is currently available on the BIMS Bangalore official website. Candidates wanting to enrol in the 2024-25 admission year can visit the website and apply. As of now, there is no admission end date available. Candidates are advised to apply as soon as possible.
