For admission to BA LLB programme at RV University Bangalore, candidates must have completed Class 12th from a recognised board of education. The minimum required percentage in Class 12th is 45% in aggregate. Apart from this, the university also accepts few entrance exam scores for admission to BA LLB programme. The accepted entrance exams are RVSAT/ CLAT/ LSAT India. After qaulifying the exam, counselling is conducted then the candidates have to appear for personal interview at the university campus for final admission.

In terms of placements, the college has witnessed an improving trend in the MBA placement rate. During 2022 placements, 95% of MBA students were placed. Earlier, 85% of the MBA batch was placed in 2021. The college has not released the separate placement report for BBA. However, the overall placement data for UG (3-year) courses is out. The median package offered to UG (3-year) students during 2022 placements was INR 4.80 LPA. Over the past three years (2020 to 2022), a fluctuating trend was observed in the median package.
