Getting admission in BA programme at Manipal Center for Philosophy and Humanities (MCPH), Bangalore is not too difficult if you meet the right qualifications. Students with a strong interest in the humanities and an adequate academic record at grade 12 (50–60% or higher) are sought. Typically, the admissions process consists of an application and possibly an interview or written test. However, students who demonstrate genuine interest in disciplines such as philosophy, history and literature are preferred. Seating is limited, so joining early improves chances.

Being a humanities institute, activities are field-based. Many students go into research, teaching, writing, and even NGOs. Depending on the role, salaries can range from INR 20,000 – INR 40,000 per month. Some even dabble in journalism, publishing, or manufacturing. But it's more about desire than great reward. Networking and internships in the course help a lot in finding a good role.

Manipal Centre for Philosophy & Humanities (MCPH), Bangalore, can feel expensive to some students, especially because it's a private institute. Annual fees for programs here are usually around INR 1-2 lakh, depending on the course. Plus, students may also need money for living costs in Bangalore—rent, food, transport—adding INR 10,000– INR 20,000 per month. For some, the quality of education and professors might make the cost worth it. But, compared to government universities, it's on the higher side. Scholarships and financial aid, if available, can help ease the burden.

Institute of Logistics and Aviation Management, Bangalore : As far as this place is concerned, there is no common "cutoff system" like most universities or colleges follow. Admissions to the ILAM are generally done on the basis of an entrance exam conducted by the institute followed by a personal interview. For programmes like BBA, MBA, or special ones like logistics or aviation, the selection usually depends on the entrance exam, academic background, and interview.
