The Bangalore University MCA placement data has not been disclosed. However, the NIRF report 2024 incorporates the overall data for PG (2-year) courses. During 2023 placements, 68% of the PG (2-year) batch was placed. Further, the median package offered was INR 3.50 LPA. Yes, the University has a placement cell that conducts various activities for the successful placement of the students. The official data for the recent placements is not out yet. However, the NIRF report 2024 has been released, according to which 317 UG (4-year), 52 UG (5-year), and 1,429 PG (2-year) students were placed during the 2023 drive. Further, the median package offered to UG (4-year) and UG (5-year) students was INR 6.50 LPA and INR 7.45 LPA. For PG (2-year) courses, the median package stood at INR 2.50 LPA.

The placement rate for UG (5-year) and UG (4-year) courses has been fluctuating from 2021 to 2023. For PG (2-year) courses, the placement rate dropped from 2021 to 2022 and for 2022 and 2023 the percentage of students placed has been the same. The Bangalore University average package is not out officially. However, the University has disclosed the median package in the NIRF report 2024. The median package for PG (2-year) and UG (4-year) courses has been fluctuating from 2021 to 2023. On the other hand, the median package for UG (5-year) courses dropped from 2021 to 2022 and for the last two years, it has been constant.
