The general category K PGCET cutoff for the MCA course was 1094 last year. Based on this data, your chances are lower to get a government seat at Bangalore University for the MCA course. In certain cases, if the seats are still available due to document issues, you may get admission in subsequent cut-offs. If you fall into one of the following categories: 2BG, 1G, 2AG, or GMH, you may have a better chance of getting admitted to the MCA course based on previous cutoffs.

You cannot work if you are pursuing a regular course, such as a B.Sc. Or B.Tech. In regular courses, it is mandatory to have at least 75% attendance to appear in the exam. This applies to postgraduate as well as Diploma courses, which are offered in regular mode. It is challenging to work while studying because you must maintain the necessary attendance. Although there is no strict no-work policy during the study period, course guidelines make it difficult to do both. You can apply for a distance education course instead, like most working people who pursue their studies at IGNOU or other distance colleges.
