Yes, you can prepare and apply for the banking job exams conducted by IBPS or SBI. IBPS and SBI conduct various exams to recruit candidates in public sector banks.
The minimum qualification required for the banking exams is graduation degree in any stream from recognized university.

Only fine arts majors have some restrictions otherwise you are eligible for all jobs like SSC, Customs, excise, banks, IAs, IPSETC. Just prepare well for your PO exams and you can go places.

If you wish to join a bank as an assistant manager then you should go for MBA in Banking and Financial Services or MBA in Finance. This would help you in fulfilling your dream. MBA should be done from a reputed B-School to get a good job. The other option is to prepare for Bank PO exams and after clearing it, you can join government or PSU banks.
