RBI Grade B exam centres once allotted cannot be changed by candidates. The preference of exam centres should be entered while filling the application form. The examination authority allots exam centres chosen by candidates. However, in case of unavailability of exam centres chosen by candidates, they are allotted to some other centres. RBI Grade B exam centres are allotted to candidates on the first-apply-first-allot basis. Therefore, candidates should apply early to get their preferred exam centres.

Candidates can choose one RBI Grade B exam centre each for prelims and Mains exams. Candidates are advised to choose the exam centres carefully while filling the application form. Exam centres once entered by candidates in the application form cannot be changed later.

Yes, you need to mention your preferences separately for prelims and Mains exam of RBI Grade B. Candidates must choose exam centres as per their convenience. They should choose the exam city the nearest to their home. Candidates can choose RBI Grade B exam centres while filling the application form. Candidates can choose one exam city each for the prelims and Mains exams while filling the application form.

The list of exam centres for RBI Grade B prelims, Mains and interview has been released along with the detailed notification. The Phase 1 exam is conducted in more than 100 cities. The Mains exam is conducted in more than 20 cities. Interview is conducted in the selected exam centres.

The scores of RBI Grade B are calculated in the following method:
The number of questions answered correctly by a candidate in each objective test is considered for arriving at the corrected score after applying the penalty for wrong answers
The corrected scores so obtained by a candidate are made equivalent to take care of the minor difference in difficulty level, if any, in each of the objective tests held in different sessions to arrive at the equated scores obtained by candidates on any test are equated to the base form by considering the distribution of scores of all the forms

The Phase I marks of candidates are not considered for RBI Grade B final selection for General Post. The Phase 1 exam serves as screening test. Only the marks obtained in the phase 2 and interview are considered for the final merit list. Candidates qualifying the Mains exam and interview are selected for appointment to the post of RBI Grade B Officers. The scores of candidates for RBI Grade B exam are calculated based on the normalisation process since the exam is held in multiple sessions. The normalisation of marks are done to adjust the difficulty level of question papers across various sessions. RBI Grade B scorecard displays the section-wise and overall scores. There are sectional timings in Phase 1 of RBI Grade B exam. The prelims exam is conducted for 120 minutes. Candidates need to attempt the different sections of the prelims exam as per the allotted time frame. Paper 1 and 3 of the Mains exam are held for 120 minutes. The Paper 2 of the Mains exam is conducted for 90 minutes. The total marks allotted to the prelims exam are 200. The total marks allotted to the Mains exam are 300. The total marks allotted to interview are 75 marks. In Phase-I, 25 minutes each are allotted to General Awareness, English Language and Quantitative Aptitude while 45 minutes are allotted to Reasoning.

The subjects of IBPS Clerk exam are as follows:
Preliminary Exam - The Preliminary exam has 100 multiple-choice questions from English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The total duration of the exam is one hour.
