Bannari Amman Institute of Technology offers BE/ BTech at the UG level and ME/ M.Tech and MBA at the PG level in Engineering and Management streams. BAIT is affiliated with the Anna University, Chennai and accredited with A+ Grade by NAAC and NBA. BTech and MBA are the flagship courses of the institute. Candidates can collect the application form for Common Entrance Test from the Association of Management of Coimbatore. Aspirants need to pay an application fee of INR 50 in case for the form. The application forms for CET are usually released in the last week of June and closes by July.

Candidates need to apply for TNEA for BTech admission. The applications for TNEA are open in May and closes by June. The selection for PG courses is based on CET score. The application window for CET conducted by Association of Management of Coimbatore opens by the last week of June and closes by the last week of July.

Candidates need to pass a minimum of Class 12 for Bannari Amman Institute of Technology BTech/ BE course. As per the official website, aspirants need to complete their Class 12 or equivalent with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for Backward Class/ MBC & DNC/ SC/ SCA/ ST) for BTech/ BE admission. Hence, aspirants with 60% in Class 12 have a good chance of getting a seat in the institute.

Admission to BTech or BE course of BAIT Coimbatore is via TNEA Counselling. Aspirants can apply for TNEA with their Class 12 marks. Hence, aspirants do not require to qualify JEE Main for BE/ BTech admission. Aspirants only need to fulfil the eligibility criteria for admission.

Yes, candidates do not require JEE score to get admission in BE or BTech course of BAIT Coimbatore. Aspirants are offered admission in BE based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants fulfiling the eligibility criteria can apply for TNEA Counselling for seat allotment. Candidates need to pass a minimum of Class 12  with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for Backward Class/ MBC & DNC/ SC/ SCA/ ST) for BTech course.

Bannari Amman Institute of Technology admissions are both merit and entrance-based. Candidates must first register for the course of their choice to participate in the selection rounds.
