Yes, Bapuji Dental College and Hospital offers five-year PhD course in full-time mode. Candidates with MDS degree awarded by RGUHS University or by a recognised College/University recognised by DCI or a PG Dental degree considered as equivalent by RGUHS  to apply for PhD programme.

Bapuji Dental College offers three courses at UG, PG and doctoral levels. The institute is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore (RGUHS) and is approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI). The college offers a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at UG, Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) at PG and PhD at the doctorate level. Admission to all the courses is done based on the score obtained in the entrance exam.

Aspirants need to pass BDS from a recognised Indian university or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Dental Council of India to apply for Bapuji Dental College MDS programme. Students studied other than Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Karnataka need to produce eligibility certificate issued by RGUHS Karnataka at the time of MDS admission
