In terms of tuition fees, Barkatullah University cannot be called expensive. Only three courses that are B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery), B.H.M.S. (Bachelor of Homeopathic, Medicine and Surgery) and MD can be called expensive as they exceed 90 Lacs, but as they are medical courses, the cost is understandable. There are no other courses which can be expensive here.

B.Tech. at Barkatullah University costs 1.7Lac, whereas it would cost 1.5-2Lac at Rewa Engineering College. Both have the same number of seats for the five different B.Tech. courses and similar minimum take-in percentages required from class 12. Both accept the JEE Main and MP BE scores. Rewa Engineering College offers a B.E. in Electrical Engineering course with a lateral entry and only 8 seats. This is the only plus point of Rewa Engineering College. In all other factors, both universities are competent.
