B.Tech. at Barkatullah University costs 1.7Lac, whereas it would cost 1.5-2Lac at Rewa Engineering College. Both have the same number of seats for the five different B.Tech. courses and similar minimum take-in percentages required from class 12. Both accept the JEE Main and MP BE scores. Rewa Engineering College offers a B.E. in Electrical Engineering course with a lateral entry and only 8 seats. This is the only plus point of Rewa Engineering College. In all other factors, both universities are competent.

The information about cut-offs and placements for 2023 is not available. The data available is from 2022. Barkatullah University admits students based on their MP MET merit score. Madhya Pradesh Management Entrance Test or MP MET is a common aptitude test, conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) on behalf of the state government. In 2022, the cut-off for the General category was 300. It could be different for OC, SC/ST and PWD.
