The total seats available in all that is total intake of students in main campus is around 480.seats allotment are totally based on JEE main counselling.Seats offered in civil engineering are around 40.Intake in electrical engineering is of 40.Mechanical also has intake of  40. 

An individual should follow a proper schedule for this. One should solve sample papers and previous year papers and MBD to study.You should try to figure out the paper pattern. Identify which questions Carties 8 marks I then prepare accordingly for high scoring topics.Once you start reading sample papers you will get familiar with the paper pattern.Second most important thing is how you represent your paper.You should focus on handwriting, focus on using blue and black pens, draw near diagrams.Write less text but draw more diagram accordingly.

IKGPTU admission are totally based on the merit list. Students who wants to take admission needs to meet eligibility criteria established by the university. Students must  meet 10+2 criteria and BTech ( for Diploma students only).

Candidates who have passed minimum 3 year Diploma examination from Punjab state board of technical education and industrial training, Chandigarh or sant Longowal institute of Engineering and technology Longowal (SLIET).Or candidates with BSC degree from recognised university with at least 45% aggregate and who have studied Mathematics in class 12 are also eligible.

For joining B.Tech at IKGPTU, a student must have passed his/her 10+2 examinations and have given JEE Mains Paper and scored decent marks, then only a person can get admission in this University otherwise no. However, only 10+2 is required for other courses in this University like BBA but not for B.Tech. 

I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University - PIT BATALA Campus usually completes their admission process in the months of March - June/July. The Admission is done on the basis of Counselling rounds. However, aspiring students must visit their website for the latest updates related to everything. As I am writing this in September 2024, the cutoffs have already been released.

I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University - PIT BATALA Campus is a Tier 2 college as per my opinion because the criteria for admission is quite lineant. A person can easily secure 45% aggregate in their 10+2 and they also accept low score in Competitive exams like JEE.

The Application Form Fee for pursuing B.Tech programme at I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University is 4,300 INR (Four Thousand and Three Hundred only as per the Indian Currency). The Students must pay this fee online through their website and can also come directly to the campus for offline procedure. 

IKGPTU - PIT BATALA campus provides opportunities to minorities and lower income students who otherwise has the talent but cannot afford the expensive education. The institution aims to provide quality education to all the aspiring students who want to make a career in Engineering Technology and Management. It is established by the Government of Punjab. The on-campus facilities are on point, they offer a wide range of courses from B.Tech to BBA for UG students and from M.Tech to MBA for PG students. Their Placement packages are also quite good. Overall, yes it's a good college and the vision they work with is inspirational.
