Agricultural EngineeringCollege has been established to train young generation as Agriculture Engineer Graduates so that these trained engineers would be capable of contributing for the growth of agriculture sector and development of entrepreneurship in Jharkhand along with other parts of India and abroad. This college offers four years B.Tech Course in  takes are precisely1500-1600 Agricultural Engineering discipline. The syllabus approved by ICAR is followed during four years (8 semesters) tenure. Apart from classroom studies/lecture, students will get exposure during student READY (Rural and Entrepreneurship Awareness Development Yojana)programme which consists of Experiential Learning (EL), Rural Agriculture Work Experience (RAWE), In Plant Training/ Industrial Attachment during fourth year and two Skill Development Trainings during semester breaks. This college will play a vital role in shaping the future of talented students of Jharkhand by producing skilled technical manpower capable of fulfilling the agricultural need of farmers, establishing food processing industries, undertaking soil and water erosion problems followed by their conservation, promoting applications of renewable energy and farm machinery technologies. 

Placement Experience: You are eligible for placement in the 8th Semester. You have on campus as well as off campus placement. Students had grabbed good placements in various private firms mostly banking with an average package of 4-6 LPA. Since I am a first year student. I don't know much about placement and Internships. But you will get more opportunities in this university than any other agricultural university in this state. And in the coming future, the demand will increase for agriculture graduates. Most students who don't take placements prepare for JRF and higher studies or prepare for PCS and various vacancies in both government and private firms providing good posts and salaries. There are many more options to explore than you know now. You will get to know many more options from your professors and seniors.Internships Opportunities: Though RNTAC, TMAC and ACG are newly opened colleges RAC is the old one. So you will get internship opportunities there. mainly with farms and seed and fertilizer companies. Since I am a first year student. I know very little about internships and stipends

The study in this college is very efficient. It is the cheapest among all the Agriculture colleges in India. The facilities provided such as classrooms, library, computer cell, hostel are much high in comparison to the fees. The infrastructure is very nice. There are provision of merit scholarship for top 5 students of a batch and also government e kalayan scholarship for economically backward students. The college is suitable for both socio-economically forward and backward students.Each semester fees are different approximately 3500 rupees per semester. E -Kalyan scholarships are available for students except for the general category and only for the Jharkhand domicile students. ICAR selected students also get scholarships from the ICAR. Many componies came here for campus selection. Like dairy, fertilizer or seed companies.Since this is a State funded State Agricultural University (SAU) and ICAR accredited, college fees are not much. And especially this university has a very low raw fee i.e, only Rs. 10k/year including all facilities. You can also avail various scholarships under State Schemes and also you get some prize money if you rank top.
