Since we have several colleges that come under Birsa Agricultural University like Ranchi Veterinary College, Ranchi Agricultural College, College of Forestry, Agricultural Engineering College and various other colleges. So the total numbers may vary accordingly and to give an exact number would be a challenging task. However a total of approximately 15000 students are currently studying at BAU.

There are several mess available at our college.Quality of which may vary depending upon the management available there.Overall proper food is provided in every mess and quality of food may vary from mess to mess which mainly depends on the management available there.So mess can be considered good with decent quality food provided.
