LPU is a better option. Being an alumnus of LPU I would prefer LPU as it has helped me grow professionally and provides exposure to various opportunities in terms of internships, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, placements etc. LPU is one of the best private universities in the country with world-class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty. At LPU may be given option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for the completion of programme subject to conditions and norms of regulatory bodies. International Exposure Option Student may be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country as decided by the University subject to conditions. Semester Exchange - Student may be given an option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for a semester as decided by the University subject to conditions. They have Industrial Tie-ups with various reputed companies that give students the opportunity for pursuing live projects/ professional certifications. No doubt LPU adopts new technologies faster than others they update their curriculum after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also to meet the latest standards
Entrepreneurship projects are an essential piece of the educational programs and help students build up themselves as fruitful business individuals. They have Collaboration/Tie up with the companies like NSE, Safe Educate, ICICI Direct, IDFC, etc. To give students the opportunity for pursuing live projects and/or professional certifications like NCCMP, NCFM etc. As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in. University give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements, after all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests in order to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills.
