The candidate must have passed 12th in any stream or equivalent from a recognised board. The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 50% in the qualifying examination. The candidates who are in their final year of degree can also apply for admission.

As per the eligibility criteria of NIMCET, the Candidates must have studied B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT/ B.E/ B.Tech of minimum three years full-time from a recognised University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects. They must have a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scales (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in case of SC/ ST). So if you have studied Mathematics/ Statistics as one subject in BCA than can be eligible only. Otherwise not.

Yes, you can get admission in BCA if you have Mathematics with other Arts subjects I. e though you are from Arts stream you have to keep Math as one of the subjects in 11-12 standards, you can easily enter in any colleges to pursue your BCA. But if you didn't have Math, you have to face some difficulties to get admission. In 2018 many government colleges remove that criteria also, they don't ask now Mathematics, you can pursue BCA with simple Arts background. The basic BCA eligibility criteria for the BCA admission process is mentioned below:
The student must have an aggregate of 50% or above in Class 12 in any stream (Arts, Science, Commerce) with English and Mathematics as a compulsory subject. Some colleges grant admission to students who have completed class 12 without Maths and English as compulsory subjects. After MEC, You can choose any course either BCA or BBA. Of course yes. You can take admission in BCA even if you don't have CS in class 12th. It is not compulsory to have math or CS in class 12th to take admission in BCA although some colleges are there that requires math in class 12th to take admission in.
