BCA Eligibility

Unlike the B.Tech / B.E. Course in Computer Science and Engineering or Information technology students aspiring for a BCA course do not need to have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in their Class 12th examinations. Students from the field of arts and commerce are equally eligible for joining the course as the ones from the Science background. However, Any student completed higher secondary (10+2) with Math as a compulsory subject and computer as an elective/compulsory in 10+2 will be given an advantage. Some universities/colleges conduct an entrance exam to take admission in the BCA course. But Most of the colleges or Universities normally enrolled students based on their marks in 10th and 10+2. Here, either 10+2 marks will be a priority or maybe on the basis of First come First serve. All the Best.

Bachelor of Computer Applications BCA is a four-year undergraduate degree in education and three-year undergraduate degree course in India. With a BCA students can study for a Masters in computer application. At LPU this programme is designed to build programming skills for developing efficient and resource optimized software/website/cloud/mobile applications. As per the latest updates I got from existing student of LPU that admissions are ongoing for the 2020 session till 30th November. To get into this course you need to meet eligibility condition which says Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent. Yes you can go for BCA if you have completed 12th from commerce stream. But you need to work hard in Mathematics. If you have completed 12th from commerce stream.
