For getting admission into BCA a candidate must have completed their +2 from a recognised board of education and should have scored atleast 45%. If you can fulfill this criteria then you can pursue BCA. It'll be beneficial for you if you start learning C Programming Language. Yes, students from every stream can pursue BCA. Just make sure that you clear your 12th with atleast 45%, so you can get admission into colleges easily without paying any donation. Also, start learning C programming language as it'll be beneficial for you if you know this language before taking admission into BCA. The general eligibility for getting admission into BCA is that a candidate must have pursued their +2 from a recognised board of education. A candidate must have scored atleast 45% in +2. A candidate can be from any stream. If the candidate has studied maths and computer science then it is better for them and if not, still they are eligible for admission into BCA.Note that this is the general criteria you should check the website of the college and university in which you are seeking admission. The eligibility criteria is different for every university. Some universities want the candidate to score more than 70% in their +2 and must be from science/commerce stream with maths and computer science as mandatory subjects. Whereas, some universities requires atleast 45% in +2 and candidate can be from any stream including arts/humanities and also without maths and computer Science as mandatory subjects. Later entry is not possible in BCA course. If you want to pursue BCA then you'll have to take admission into BCA from the first year.

The admission criteria differs for every university. According to popular universities, a candidate must be from Science/Commerce stream and must have studied Maths and Computer Science as mandatory subjects in +2 and should have scored at least 70% in +2.
But, some universities also provide admission to arts students too with Maths and CS being non-mandatory subjects.
So, basically everyone can take admission into BCA but the university will matter.

No, maths is not a mandatory subject for seeking admission in BCA but for some universities, maths is mandatory. A majority of universities will provide you admission. A student with commerce IP can surely get admission into BCA without any problem.

You can try to ask the colleges directly for the admission, but the chances are really slim. Some universities might provide you admission, just try to contact multiple colleges via phone and visit them if they agree.
