Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA) is an undergraduate degree course in computer applications. The duration of the course is 3 years and divided into 6 semesters. It comprises of the subjects like database, networking, data structure, core programming languages like 'C' and 'java'.

Yes, you can, you need to qualify certain exams if you want a seat in renowned colleges or university. You should have minimum 50% in 12th (any stream) to do BCA. It doesn't matter which stream student you choose.

Eligibility Criteria for BCA Course
1. Candidate must have completed Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent
2. The minimum marks secured in 12th standard should be at least 50%
3. The candidate should have pursued the Science subjects. The Science subjects should include Physics and Chemistry
4. Most institutes insist candidates should have pursued Mathematics during 12th standard.
