NIELIT Itanagar selects candidates for BCA course based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. Candidates must have completed Class 12 exam from Central Board of Secondary Education or any other equivalent examination recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University (including Vocational Course) to get admission in the BCA programme.

Hi Nishar, As per my research, you can definitely take a direct admission at National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Itanagar. The institute offers BCA, Certificate and Advanced Diploma courses in various specialisations. The minimum eligibility required for admission to BCA is Class 12 with 50%. And, candidates can directly apply on the official website of the institute for enquiry regarding admission.

While BCA programme at NIELIT Itanagar is a three-year programme and is the flagship programme of the institute, NIELIT Gangtok doesn't offer it. Hence, there can't be any comparison done between the two institutes for BCA programmes. National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Itanagar offers BCA (General) in the campus. The institute focuses mainly in ensuring good studies and curriculam for the students. All the best.
