Generally admission in IPU for B.Tech courses are based on ranks obtained in JEE Main. Hence ranks obtained in IPU CET for BCA will not be considered for B.Tech admissions. So you can not pursue B.Tech courses on the basis of IPU CET BCA rank.

BCA student, then you should start focusing on top most technologies gaining priority in IT field, and should start studying them with full zest and zeal. Learning new languages which are in trend will help you making your career and even in getting a decent job with good salary. You should also focus on what your teachers are teaching you in your colleges and try to grab awesome marks in every semester not to go less than 60%, and if you want to go for the best and top companies, then you should grab percentage 80+ in every semester.

Repeated practice can improve that. BCA Maths is quite easy. So don't worry about it. If you really have interest to do BCA then go with it. But, if you want to pursue MCA Maths plays an important role. Competitive Exams like NIMCET AIMCET and so on gives importance to Maths. So, whenever possible practice Maths. Or else, join any institute which provides BCA+MCA integrated courses. But, if you want to pursue MCA from reputed institute like NIT, then Maths is important. Note that, NITs don't provide integrated courses.
